Patrick J. Grablin has been proud to serve the community through orthopaedic care since 1997. In 1989, Dr. Grablin received his medical degree from Northwestern University. After graduation, Dr. Grablin decided to seek warmer weather and moved to Miami, Florida. There, he began his residency in orthopaedics at Jackson Memorial Hospital and completed his residency in 1994.

After his residency, Dr. Grablin served three years with the U.S. Army Medical corps. He was stationed at the 121st General Hospital in Korea, Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Denver, Colorado and as Chief of Orthopaedics at Irwin Army Hospital in Ft. Riley, Kansas.

After his military service, Dr. Grablin began his orthopaedic practice in Bradenton in 1997. His goal was to gain the trust and confidence of his patients by providing the highest quality of orthopaedic care possible. Today, Dr. Grablin specializes in general orthopaedics as well as surgery. He offers treatment options for the shoulder, elbow, hand, wrist, hip, knee, and foot/ankle, including total joint surgery of the shoulder, knee and hip.

In The Community

Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Grablin is also an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He served on the Board of Governors of the Manatee Medical Society.

Dr. Grablin continues to show his commitment to Orthopaedics and the community through his role as a teacher. He is one of a select few of local physicians chosen by the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton to train and mentor students. These students work closely with Dr. Grablin and our entire medical team so that we can pass on our professional knowledge to the next generation of caregivers.

Most importantly, Dr. Grablin strives to make every patient feel as though they are part of our team. By keeping his patients educated and informed on their health care, Dr. Grablin encourages patients to actively participate in their treatment and healing process. He believes this is key to a speedy recovery and it gets his patients back on track with their daily activities as soon as possible.
